True,,they could. I think if/when they do Undermountain (and I'm certain it's on their drawing board somewhere), I think Waterdeep is likely to be Chapter One, Urban Adventure giving context to the Megadungeon par excellence.

We agree on that! I just think those come this year is all. And I think it is two books, not just a Chapter in one!

Thank you for finding that! Ya, my guess that Broadway and Catacomb are connected seems spot on to me. Plus during Nathan Stewarts latest fireside chat he said cosplayers better "get their cosplays of Durnan ready. It may come in handy in the future." I have no doubt in my mind that Catacomb is Undermountain.

I think if there is one thing the WotC folks have done a good job don't, it's creating room for reasonable doubt about their upcoming products. I wouldn't be surprised to see Undermountain soon, and I think the theory that TftYP was a stopgap from an initial 2017 plan of ToA and Undermountain APs has merit.

Maybe we're getting Undermountain for Marathon, akin to Tales from the Yawning Portal. Just a really long dungeon crawl split into chapters with going back to Durnan for what little exposition is needed. I think it could fit.

Marathon is a bit short, and if Undermountain is done, there best done with elbow room. But seriously, the next three products could be almost anything and WotC would be able to point towards evidence they laid out.

One last thing about Marathon being a Planar supplement: Chris Perkins said the next book (Marathon) will be teased in Dice Camera Action this season. So far they have had two sessions where players went to Sigil and a few more where they talked with various Sigil related NPCs (Shemeshka, Many as One, etc.) At this point if Marathon is not some kind of planar book I'll eat my hat!

The Year of Our Lord 2018: Year of the Flumph! The Great Flumph March, Dead Flumphs, and The Adventures of Undermountain...Flumphs.

You are correct, but I was referring to the amulet he was looking for in the Great Modron March.

Hah my bad! I thought you meant the maguffin from Dead Gods. I didn’t run a lot of the Great Modron March, so i don’t recall an amulet being involved at all. What was the deal with it, do you know?

Well, at three books a year that isn't a big dip into my budget: certainly their old strategy prevented me from buying, due to analysis paralysis.

It's all good!

They don't say much about it really. They say he's looking for it, that it's located somewhere in the Lower Planes, and that he now has to look for it. Hell, they don't even call him by name in the module, just that it's the same entity from Dead Gods. So when Idle Champions posted the picture of the amulet, my mind jumped to it being the same one mentioned in the March.
