Answer me these Eberron questions three...

I say "sigh-REE," but I'm often in the minority in such things.

I haven't really dealt with that house in any great length in my game. They met on NPC scion and killed him, that's it. (much the way they deal with most of the NPCs they meet).

I've only run one adventure (I've made the rest up) and it was a Dragon one made for Eberron, so I can't help you there.

1) its pronounced Si-Gil, with a hard G, not Si-Jil, with a soft... oh, wait. I mean I call it SIRE, buy SEER isn't bad either.

2) No, mostly that distrust is aimed at Darguun, not Dennith.

3) None so far...

My DM pronounces house Orien almost exactly like the stellar constellation. I pronounce it OR-ee-en.

During our last adventure, we were tracking some missing Orien workers. We came across an amulet with the Orien sigil laying on the ground. I took the opportunity to intone, "Not idly do the leaves of House Orien fall." I mean, how many chances will I ever get for an chance like that?

In the Eberron game I am playing in we pronounce it Sire. As for house Deneith, we have yet to encounter/deal with them in game. Our DM runs his own adventures in the campaign world but another game I am in is running the Savage Tide adventure set in the Lazar Pricipalities.

House Orien I've always pronounced "ORR-ee-en", because I've always loved calling the lightning rail the "Orien Express." There MUST be a murder at least once on the moving train in your campaign. Please! Keep the tradition alive! :D

Cyre I prefer "Seerie."

As for modifying adventures, it can be done with a bit of planning. Heck, I once took a Dungeon Adventures plot and made a Star wars Adventure out of it! :) Nothing says "Star Wars" like a prison break from a Desert dungeon on Tattooine. :)

I pretentiously ignore the reference. I'm not going to play right into their hands! Whoever they are...

1) "Sigh-Ray".

2) No less than the fact that Cannith's Warforged, a major focus of the last several decades, are now effectively off limits and a bunch are now trying to erradicate all other life. Cannith is also the source of a lot of unpopular opinion, due to the fact they made Warforged, which are synonamous with... er... War? Then again, all the houses made killings off the Last War. They're needed and tolerated, not neccessarily wanted.

3) I would deem it unlikely, but there are gems out there that can be run as Eberron with truly minimal changes. Such an adventure was 'And Madness Followed', but it might have something to do with the fact that it has Cthulhu-mythos elements. Becuase every world can use some more madness. :]
