More lowered level minions sounds like the counter to this. And the once per round thingy with the warlocks curse helps.
And since magic items sell for one fifth and merchants routinely gouge, simply not placing this item means that the player has to pay through the nose for it in GP or Magic item essence.

That they have to be the closest may matter in lots of fights since the warlock is probably the one who was expected to snipe the leaders, controllers and artillery in back.keterys said:Well, I wouldn't include the feat cost on there - is there any warlock who shouldn't take a feat that makes their curse hit two people instead of 1?
