Any 1st level feats that give a Sorceror another spell

Wraith-Hunter

First Post
I'm wondering if there are any other feats out there like Celestial Herritage (phb II) that gives a sorceror another known spell that he is able to take @ first. Any wotc book/dragon is fair game.

Thanks

Precocious Apprentice (Complete Arcane) will allow a 1st level Sorcerer to gain a 2nd level spell :)

Are you sure that it is in Complete Arcane? I don't see it.

ETA:

Found it on Wizards site but not in the book:
Precocious Apprentice

Your master has shown you the basics of a spell beyond the normal limits of your experience and training.

Prerequisites: Int 15 or Cha 15, arcane spellcaster level 1

Benefit: Choose one 2nd-level spell from a school that is not barred to you. You can cast that spell once per day. In effect, you have an extra 2nd-level spell slot that must be used to cast the chosen spell, and cannot be used for any other purpose. If you cannot cast 2nd-level spells yet, you must succeed on a caster level check (DC 8) to successfully cast the spell; if you fail, you miscast the spell to no effect. Your caster level with the chosen spell is your normal caster level, even if this is insufficient to cast the spell under normal circumstances.

When you become able to cast 2nd-level spells, you lose the previous benefit described above. Instead, you simply have an extra 2nd-level spell slot, which you may use to prepare (or spontaneously cast, if you are a spontaneous caster) 2nd-level or lower spells as you normally would.

You also gain a +2 bonus on all Spellcraft checks.

Special: You can only take this feat as a 1st-level character.

For some strange reason, it is not listed with all the other feats in the book, or in the feats chapter even. It's listed in the back of the book, on page 181, under the Arcane Organizations section of the book. It's right next to the Collegiate Wizard feat.

Arcane disciple from complete divine

Unless I am wrong you don't gain any -known- spells with this feat. You just add some divine spells to your class list. You could learn healing spells for example as a wiz/sor if you took the helaing domain, but you would not know them, you would have to learn them normally and as a Sor spend one of your known spell slots to know them.

Please correct me if I'm wrong it would be really cool if it added a domain of spells to your list or known spells!

Air Bloodline

Type: Bloodline
Source: Dragon Compendium Vol. 1

One of your ancestors was a creature of elemental air. Beings associated with this element come in almost endless variety, and your characteristics might vary with the type of elemental creature from which you are descended. Regardless of your exact ancestry, you are likely to have blue eyes and wild, unkempt hair.

Prerequisite: Ability to cast arcane spells without preparation.
Benefit: Your ancestry gives you a bonus spell known at each spell level, starting at 1st, according to the following list.

* 1. Obscuring mist
* 2. Gust of wind
* 3. Wind wall
* 4. Shout
* 5. Telekinesis
* 6. Control winds
* 7. Ethereal jaunt
* 8. Summon monster VIII (elementals and outsiders with the air subtype only)
* 9. Freedom

Special: If a character takes this feat any time after 1st level and has already learned any of the spells on this list in the class that granted him access to this feat, he gains no additional spells known at those spell levels. This restriction does not apply if he learned any of these spells as a member of another spellcasting class.
Characters with Air Bloodline cannot learn or cast spells with the earth descriptor, and all such spells are removed from the spell lists of all their spellcasting classes.

Similar feats can be found for the other elements, fey, celestial, ect. :)

Any idea what issues of Dragon this came from? I don't have access to this book right now but some of my buddies have lots of Dragon Issues.

Thanks
