Just looking for a small adventure, say 2-5 sessions worth, around level 7,8,9-ish

Wondering if there's anything with a sea/beach/nautical/aquatci theme available.

other suggestions around that level are welcome too.

cheers!

If you own the Lords of Madness supplement, there's a detailed mini-adventure in there (Wreck of the Mindspider, including all stats and a nice map), which is about a Neogi Spelljammer wrecked at a hidden beach, behind a cave-riddled cliff. Should be about right for 7th to 9th level characters (depending on party size), but you need to come up with an adventure hook yourself. The following all work just fine: a missing daughter; sudden behavior changes in some inhabitants of a fishing village; actually witnessing the crash from a distance; etc.

For some reason, I fell in love with that little bit of adventure right when I first saw it. Maybe it's just because both Neogi and Umber Hulks are awesome, I don't know. I ran it two times already, in different groups.

I love that book, that series (with Libris Mortis, Fiendish Codexes) are some of my favorite 3.5 fluff books.

I did run that encounter once with this party. Defenitely fun.

I'm probably going to make something myself. Thinking about using Sarkt (Mind Flayer Sorcerer) from that same supplement as my "end boss".

Have you seen "Last Breaths of Ashenport"? it's for 6th levels, but a little bumping shouldn't be hard. It was a free WOTC adventure, I think. Very Cthulhuoid.

There's a pathfinder adventure called Treasure of Chimera Cove, which involves a village that is being held prisoner by a man seeking treasure on the three islands just offshore. It's for 7th+ lvl characters.

Tower in the Ice is a 9th lvl adventure (Free WOTC adventure, again) involving an ancient tower that is submerged in a frozen lake. Pretty cool...

I expect the Savage Tide adventure path from Dungeon Magazine to have something in that level range, most of those should have a water/pirates/jungle demons theme.

Hah! Someone beat me to it!

Yeah, Savage Tide has pirates all up in it for the first half or so of the path.
