Any idea for a Chaotic Good Dwarf fighter

Hm...

I'd recommend the player to take on a spellcasting class. I know - this is not min/maxing, her character will probably at first be weaker than other characters but there might be an interesting role-playing attempt to it:

The issue was not about min/maxing her character. I had a discussion with my sister this weekend and we came up the the following conclusion: She wants to keep the heavy armor, she like the idea of being heavily armored for her character, she doesn't care that much about the skill (another example that taking some time in between games to discuss about the game can clarify a lot of things). Her main problem is that by the time she is in position to fight the enemy their either all dead (Barbarian with Great Cleave and fireballing sorcerer), or they ran away, or they teleport somewhere else. Basically her problem is mobility. The Barbarian/ranger and the rogue/ranger are currently doing most of the small job alone. They move to 50 and 40 respectively and with rage, Sneak attack and sthealth ability they are usually pretty deadly scouts.

She really likes to be a heavy fighting "tank" but would like to have some kind of way to be fast tracked in the middle of the battlefield. I taugh about boots of speed combine with a feat that add 5 base movement.

Boots of Striding and springing are good but she said that she prefer short burst of high speed to continuos improvement to movement.

Anyone thinks about other magic items or feat that could improve speed.

Thanks

Someone with the new XPsioHB check out Burst... otherwise a Fly spell is what she's looking for. Winged Boots in particular.

Try Boots of Haste for that one-off burst of speed and an extra attack, her speed should increase enough to get her their in time. There in time for the prompt fireball from the sorcerer

Battlerager and Giantkiller are a couple of FR prestige classes that might interest her.

I've got a red-head dwarven barbarian named Angus that acts a bit like Yosemite Sam when he rages. He'll be going for one of those two when he hits mid-levels.
