Any interest in a Paranoia PbP?? (non d20) (filled)

Greatings citizens. It has come to the Computer's attention that these boards are filled with many (not fun) games. The Computer has requested that this be promtly fixed as these (not fun) games are only diluting the brillaince of the only game in which fun is mandatory.

Paranoia is not like the traditional games. It does not promote player co operation or honesty. It does not require you to know the rules or even understand what it going on. It just requires that you be troubleshooters and that you root out commie mutant traitors.

I'm looking for about 6 people. Knowledge of the game rules is not needed, but knowledge of the setting is a big help. To help understand the game for people who might be interested here are two links to another board where I compiled info on the game:

And as a bonus they might actually help. For characters we can either do pre made as I have some, or people can create their own if you feel you are up to it.

Interested, particularly if I can use a pregen, since my only exposure to this game is indirectly through descriptions of the setting and all the jokes people make about the game in other posts.

That's why I have pregens to use, I don't expect everyone to have the books and be able to make a character.

I'd definitely be interested...Pregen for me, too. I used to have some of the older edition books, but I don't have access to them anymore. I know the setting, though.

Excellent, I actullay only have a few of the new books. But this is the one game where suppliments are nice but really not needed. THe system is really easy. All you need is a d20, and you roll it whenever using a skill or shooting someone (not that anyone gets shot in Paranoia ) I'll tell you the results of the action.

Really? Good... Cause I'm curious if this is/was your first post in talking the talk forum. (Way Off topic I know and freely admit to... but ya know its you Crothian.)

no, it is not my first post in this forum. I've played in PbP games before on EnWorld, I'm currently in a Babylon 5 game actually.

that's fine. Are you familar with the game setting, alpha complex, the security clearence thing, the secret socieites, the different posittions of each trouble shooter?

Oh yeah. As long as you aren't doing the DRAC-U-LA that we did at game day a couple of years ago. Let's see, I think a certain cat drew that one up. I've never done a pbp, but I'm game.
