Just a couple of notes for my upcoming schedule. I won't be able to check back in today until later this afternoon. I am attending seminars all day.

No problems checking in Friday and Saturday.

I won't be on from Sunday through Tuesday evening at least due to my 8th wedding anniversary. I will check in Tuesday evening. Thanks.

I still haven't read Randomling's links, but will do so today. Looks like I missed out on any opportunity to choose what role I'll play, but that's OK, I'll just take something and be happy to try the game out.

I don't have any problem actually playing the game straight and serious, or incredibly goofy, or anything in between. I do think a one-shot starter, with the possibility of rent-to-own into a real campaign would be best, though.

Also, not everyone here has private messaging (I only bought Search, because I never used PMs). We could kind accomplish the same thing by using the spoiler box heading: call out who's supposed to see it and the hide your text.

The game is going to walk the line of silly and serious. For instance if you see someone doing something treasonious you may shot and kill them as that is your duty. However, the other TRoublemakers can question why you did that and if your reasons are not good enough to convince them, then they will shoot you. Falsely accusing someone of treason is treason.

I'm not going to have much time to get things full together till Sunday. I game tonight and on Saturday and of course I work today and tommorrow. THe names of the charaters will not be puns, so in that way the game will be serious. But I can't promiose that for all NPCs.

I'm going to use sercret societies, but they won't play a big part in the game. They will help focus the characters. One option we aren't going to be seeing is the drugs.

FYI: I'm going out of town Easter weekend and will be gone the entire week following Easter Sunday, with no access to the Internet. I don't know if you were going to start before then, but I won't be able to.

As for which role I get, I don't care as I'm not really familiar with any of them. So just assign me one on my pre-gen and I'll gladly take it.
