Another way is to discuss the matter with your DM, and see if he will let you include that as a class skill at the cost of one or two existing class skills. Check out the PHB and DMG for examples of class customisation which are much wilder than this.

If your character is an established one, ask the DM if you can multiclass into a class which is extremely close to fighter but which has iaijutsu focus in place of handle animal and ride, say.

I thought Cosmopolitan was the last nail in the coffin of poor old Skill Focus, so I use Cross-Class Learning (NBOF) instead. It turns a cross-class skill into a class skill, but gives no bonus. And for c-c skills, this is still a powerful and useful feat (compared with e.g. SF, other skill feats).

I also use Cross-Class Secrets (NBOF) which turns an exclusive into a cross-class.
