Anybody know anything about AEG's Secrets

I am looking for any information about the new book from AEG: Secrets. Their website doesn't have anything about it.

Has anyone looked at it or seen it?

I flipped through a copy at a LGS this week. Essentially it is a resource book, in a narrative format. Each section reveals a secret, that secret being something to can use in your campaign, or perhaps use the narrator, or location mentioned, etc.

I am not sure how much if any crunch it might have.

It's funny - two of the bigger d20 companies, AEG and FFG, have really awful websites, at least when it comes on information on their upcoming products. I guess they don't have to worry about it.

Behind the curtain of every good fantasy campaign is a wealth of secrets just waiting to be released. Secrets is a unique sourcebook that offers a number of "what if" situations for your campaign. What about true elves, is there a secret class no one has ever seen before? Could wizards and sorcerers learn a secret that could unravel the very fabric of magic? Discover these dangerous, adventure-leading secrets from five campaign characters as they divulge the knowledge to turn your campaign on-end and keep your players guessing! (160 pages, softbound)

The secrets of mixing magical potions… the secrets of the gods… the power of true names… and 10th level magic!
Every secret can lend storytelling flavor or lead to quests as the DM sees fit.
A host of lore to add depth to any campaign, and enough mystery to bring your game back to the days of yesteryear when the players didn't already "know it all".

The impression I got from it was that it was AEG's answer to Unearthed Arcana, but with more of a story tying all the different rules stuff together.

I haven't read it all. Just read parts and skimmed others but I can say that so far I've found it to be very creative.

In the spectrum between flavor and crunch it's leaning heavily to flavor. It IS somewhat in the same class as Unearthed Arcana.

I'd think that it doesn't count as an essential book to many people, but it's still a very pleasurable and stimulating read.

In short: I like it a lot (so far).

The information on this is quite *secretive* if you ask me. If anyone can pass along info, that'd be good. Looking forward to a review soon ;)
