If you missed any you can watch them online at the CW website for free.

Terrific show!

I'll catch them in the reruns. It's not like this show has to be watched religiously to keep up with the meta-plot.

It's certainly more entertaining than Smallville, that show is really turning into a steaming shark-jumping turd.

Yeah, what the hell is up with those 15-minute denouments at the end of each episode? Where we get a bunch of fairly pointless conversations between characters (often featuring some Clark and Lana relationship angst) with background music of the latest pop band they are pimping for the week. Those things are driving me crazy. I really wish they used that time to flesh out the plot of the episode more, and then just used the last few minutes to drop future plot hooks. That, and the "everybody has superpowers" stuff is annoying.

Anyway, I really enjoy Reaper. I think the Devil is portrayed fantastically, and the inter-relations between the characters is great. They even manage to make the romantic elements believable and unobtrusive. I was a little disappointed that the original episodes seemed to make the Reaper elements kind of throw-away (the "escaped soul of the week" idea), but the meta-plot is really starting to pick up nicely with these new neighbors being introduced. Good stuff.

Although, I've gotta wonder why so many souls keep escaping to "Seattle". :p

They haven't really fleshed out the rest of the world, though. We know there are other bounty hunters out there. In fact, it seems significant that Sam gets personal visits from the devil (mentioned in the last episode).

Perhaps there are souls escaping all over the place, but others are dealing with them. Until they explore more of the world (if they decide to) we won't know.

Actually, the three newest eps (okay, really just the latest two) are getting much more "plotty." The two new characters are FABULOUS.

I'm liking Reaper a lot, and I'm glad it's back on and that the strike didn't kill it. It's not heavy, it doesn't require a lot of thinking, and I find it amusing to watch.

If Reaper weren't coming back with episodes this season, the most recent one would have been a good season finale, I think.

I've been enjoying it. A nice mix of humor and fantasy. I wish it wasnt scheduled regularly on Tuesday, though as it's my CCG night. Glad that they were able to show em on Thursday during Supernatural's hiatus, though. Also loving the new neighbors. :)

This is actually the main reason why I've stuck with Reaper. I like all the soul/Devil stuff but the characters, actors, and writing have made this show a cut above. I like how they've handled the relationships between Sam and Andi a lot because there is substance and not just boy-likes-girl. Again, their relationship/friendship is believable (and complicated!), and the actors pull it off nicely.

Good points. Even the lesser episodes are solid because of the writing and characters.

I am! It was one of my top two favorite new shows this season (along with Journeyman :( ). Always funny and engaging, with believable characters (given the circumstances) and great acting.

Maybe it's the proximity to Microsoft's HQ. :p

Seriously, it's not logical yet for them to have him go other places to hunt souls, and Seattle's a big enough city for lots of souls to get loose and try to blend in. And maybe they film in up in British Columbia or something, and that's close enough to Seattle so the scenery will look right.

Yeah, there's that. It's been mentioned that the devil's got other Reapers out there, but Sam's the only one he bothers to talk to.

I think maybe it's because Sam didn't sell his own soul. He's not really evil, and he's showing a certain amount of determination to stop these souls from wreaking havok. The devil seem to be interested in turning him to the dark side so to speak. Or maybe Sam just amuses him.
