There is a 3.0 version of the Alu-Demon here. You'll also find a version in the Tome of Horrors (3.0) and Tome of Horrors Revised (3.5) and in Dragon Magazine #355 (page 10).

Hoduken, at the moment, all of the Creature Catalog conversions are 3rd Edition updates of older monsters. I know that many of the regulars on these forums have no plans to move to 4th edition, so I don't think there are any plans to start working on 4th edition conversions at the moment.

Also, there are some legal issues -- WotC has not yet released a policy on fan sites for 4th edition, so it isn't yet clear if we could legally provide 4th edition statistics for D&D creatures, even if there was an appetite to do so.

So unfortunately, I think we would have to wait until the fan site policy is released before we could even consider doing any 4th edition conversions.

I believe there are some 4e conversions being done in probably the 4e house rules forum, so you might look there. But, like Echohawk said, I don't know if there are plans to host those more permanently than in just the threads (as opposed to a static web page).

thanks! so there isn't any for 4th yet then huh? if not then i humbly request one.

I would like to see 3rd edition get finished first. The current GSL agreement would seem to prevent this from being done if a single 4th edition monster is created. However, the fan site agreement may change this weird rule.

I bet the Pathfinder RPG fans would also love a conversion project. Something like that would not prevent the 3rd edition conversions from being finished.

Well, so far, the Pathfinder conversions from 3.5 don't look much different than doing an update from 3.0 to 3.5. So for now, it's probably easy enough for people to do on their own. However, maybe we'll switch rulesets at some point. Really, it's Shade's call, I think.

Hey, thanks for the info echohawk, I was unaware. Hmm so much drama going on with 4th it seems. So far I really like it but then again i started with 2.0 and have been riding the wave ever since. I like the change, keeps things fresh. Plus 90 bucks on new core rule books is the cheapest hobby i can think of. With dungeons and dragons its time you really spend not money even if they keep updating. And thats a personal choice. Just my two cents.
