Weird. I've received a lot of promo spam (i.e., positive advertising-ish stuff) for certain RPGs before, though I've never received spam that denigrates a game.

It comes from the ebay seller saladin4, IIRC. And if you got this email, you've probably received other ones as well. He sent out basically the same anti-4e email a month ago or so (phrasing his bashings as a question), and then when Paizo made their announcement about the Pathfinder RPG, resent it with the Paizo announcement. Very annoying, and not good marketing IMO.

Good prices on DCC modules, though.

I'm glad I checked my e-mail after reading this thread, as my bank accounts at Bank of America, Capital City, Wachovia, Bronson Credit Union, and Columbia Credit Union are all about to EXPIRE!

I'd better go on and re-register to keep my information current....
