Anyone else have a bad experience with RPGshop.com?

I placed an order back on August 7 for a couple dice and some other stuff, and was charged $30 for shipping with the promise that I would be refunded anything over actual shipping ($7.65) + $3 handling. Well its now been almost a month and still no refund of the difference. I emailed them last week to remind them, and I was told that it was sent to processing and that I would see my refund on either Tuesday or Wednesday last week. It hasn't materialized, and I've since emailed them again...

In addition, of the two dice that I ordered, one was significantly different than the picture, and the other has a large crack in it.

This was my first order from them and I went with them primarily to help support ENWorld. However, I'm not too impressed with both service and quality so its doubtful I'll be a repeat customer.

I've ordered numerous time from RPGshop and I've never had any problems. I hope they are able to resolve your issue.

Wow, I have never seen that before, refund or not I don't think I would shop at a place that did so. Rpgnow.com has always been good with my orders, but due to the nature of the product I never had to deal with shipping.

Disclaimer of personal beliefs in internet shopping: I love free shipping, I will almost always stack my order if there is a minimum for free shipping, if the site does not have free shipping I will look for one that does, only purchasing there if the price with shipping is cheaper than every other place. These are my personal preferences and colors my opion above. YMMV.
 

I will contact the store manager and see whats up... Obviously not the norm.

The $30 down payment is cause you're overseas and we have no way of calculating or guessing the shipping costs. So we simply refund you after the fact. That is normally done once a week by the admin staff.

I understood and accepted the shipping cost (I'm in Canada), I was just disappointed it took so long for the refund, and that I had to ask\remind them about it.

UPDATE: I recieved an email from Alan at RPGshop, and he resolved the issue right away. Thanks Alan and James! :D

Just to remind me (my geography's a bit rusty)... what's that sea called between Canada and the US?
 


Well, they were giving out T-shirts with a promotion and I still never got my supposed free t-shirt. :(

But things I have paid for, I have never had a problem with.
