Yeah, I'm good with mostly stat blocks, illustrations, and a little thematic description. I don't need pages of lore. I work everything into my own campaigns anyway.
I would love more monsters. I'd take then in the form of a MM2 or another Volo's/Mordy's, I'm not picky that way. I'd love to see more 1e & B/X/BECMI monsters converted to 5e, because I'm lazy (and I'd also like to see them brought back in an official status).
