Additionally, you can move, too. That can happen simultaneously or not, but the total is always a round. Think of the move almost as a free action.
That's part of the 1st edition feel they're baking into D&D Next.And if you look at the sequential nature of combat present in the latest editions, you'll find even more oddities about this "6 second" round. I don't really see anything special about this oddity.
