Anyone else checked out the new 'Free Original Adventure' from WotC website called "An Icy Heart"
http://www.wizards.com/dnd/article1.asp?x=dnd/oa/oa20020125a,3
It says "Drop this free online adventure into your campaign in any wilderness setting near a mountain village. Suitable for four high-level characters."
Yeah, Talk about a high level adventure, there's a 400hp CR24 10th level Old White Dragon
Who's sidekick is a 265hp CR19 10th level Dire Bear

You would rather have the dragon sitting around town? The poor dragon has to be somewhere...

Doesn't mean your player's characters have to go and slaughter it!

Well, they may be the least intelligent dragons, but they still have an above average intelligence score right?

[Edit: Of course the dire bear is another story. :D]

Eh, White Dragons are pansies! Any 18th to 20th level party worth it's salt could beat one in melee combat.

Its breath weapon does - what, 10d6? To a high-level party?

Of course, if it gets those claws in you, you WILL get a nasty little bit of scratch damage...

This is the only published adventure for characters 20+ level. I just wich they would have explicetly given a level range for it. I have assigned it as the first adventure in the free guide in the 18-20 average level range.

If your gonna complain about a free adventures level you should complain about low level ones. We don't need anymore 1-3 level adventures. This is exactly the type of thing we could use.

This adventure might be good for testing the Epic-Level Handbook when it arrives. :p
