Anyone got Dungeon 139 yet?

We aren't selling the Players Guide through distribution, as it was meant to be a Gen Con promotional item and we are merely selling off remaining stock while it lasts. It therefore won't appear in game stores.

So I got mine from my FLGS today and I'm flipping through, looking for my favorite iconic cleric of Wee Jas, when I notice something. That ain't her. In fact I don't recognize any of the faces for the Savage Tide adventure and then I get the bright idea to take a closer look at the cover art.

Do we get new iconics with every new adventure path? The old ones turn up in the following adventure, so I'm curious if we'll see two different sets in future Dungeons.

Yup; brand new iconics for Savage Tide; a dwarven barbarian, a human monk, a human wizard, and an elf druid; they'll be the stars for this adventrue path in much the way the drow bard, the tiefling fighter, and the human cleric of Wee Jas were the stars of Age of Worms. The Age of Worms iconics won't be going away, though; they'll be appearing in the art for other adventures now and then (as seen in this issue's "The Greater Halls").

Cool. I actually picked up the issue because of "The Greater Halls", but the first part of the new Adventure Path is also interesting, so I just read it from front to back instead of going right to new next Maure level.

And nice CR 15 trap with the chromatic dragon heads. I'm yoinking it for my players who have just Forcecaged the Terrible Iron (Star Rock in my campaign) Golem in The Great Hall.

Wycen,

I think you're thinking of the last Maure adventure. This one, I believe, doesn't have any floating cromatic dragon heads...unless you're talking about another dragon trap...

Sort of. I'm piecemealing the Maure levels. They started with the Chamber of Antiquities as their first adventure. Now, months later I'm using the Great Hall from the issue 112, but none of the other levels. But I'm going to steal that Rage of Tiamat trap from 139 to use in a soon to be explored dungeon. :)
