Anyone have effective closet gamer detection methods?

I ususally find people when I've ingested too much caffine and start going on about how much I hate Harry Potter because "he's such a frickin' wuss and my level 400 Sorceror (i wish!) could so kick his ass" or, I do my Kung-fu+jedi lightsaber routine and see how many people don't immediately step away from me.

Or wear an old TSR T-shirt with a huge demon picture on it. If they're a gamer, they'll probably ask you about it, which makes it easy.

This is probably my favorite. I was planning on wearing my Orc and Pie t-shirt to the Two Towers tomorrow for just this purpose.

use the words "charisma" or "dexterity" appropriately and see what kind of reaction you get...

Yeah, there definitly are D&D words. I like to sneak paladin, constitution, diety, and avatar in along with the two you mentioned.

I also refer to my backpack as a backpack of holding and have my +2 pencil of sharpness.

Someone else mentioned it but I use "you just failed your saving throw (or skill check)" all the the time.

Lastly, refer the to boiler room or basement as the Lost Cavern of Tsojocoth.

Wait hold on, I also say "I'd need magic weapons to kill that bug (or rat)"
