It's being revised for an expanded editon and will be out in October. http://goodmangames.com/5004Rpreview.php

One of the best DCC adventures, IMHO, and a 2004 ENnie Award nominee.

Other really good DCCs in the level range you are looking for are #7: Secret of Smuggler's Cove and #10: The Sunless Garden.

This is very good news! Are the other two you mentioned 3.0 or 3.5?

I'll be looking for that one in OCT. I have lots of Harpy minitaures and have been itching to use them...:)

I suggested it mainly for the massive aspect. I wasn't sure if he was looking for something along that lines or shorter dungeon crawls. Looks like he was looking for some of the shorter ones.

I would suggest Goodman Games' DCC's or something by Necromancer Games, like Vault of Larin Karr, Grey Citadel, or Tomb of Abysthor.

DM

All of which are 3.0. But great crawls nonetheless.

Return To The Temple Of Elemental Evil is the worst module I've ever DM'ed. It's more an exercise in using templates than a good module IMO. One of these days I'm going to take it to the range and shoot the heck of of it just to release the hatred I developed for it as the sessions dragged on. I think it really killed the whole "Mega-Module" concept for me to be honest. I don't ever see running one of those again after that experience.

My hat know no limit!

P.S. YMMV of course.

I found that this module runs really well if you take out the Crater Ridge mines. Make Lareth the main bad guy. Get rid of the Rod he carries. Have him operating out of Nulb controling the monsters at the temple and have him be in charge of the folks at the moathouse. Who he is should be the big mystery. Doing this cuts the module down to like 32 pages.

Very cool...and excellent price point. I'll be ordering both these tomorrow (payday for me).

I don't prefer PDF, but this looks like it will be easy enough to utilize.

Great product...bookmarked and e-mail to my home address

Thanks!

All the DCCs are in black and white (or blue and white when it comes to the maps on the inside covers) and print out quite nicely. A PDF of these seems like it would be easier to use as you can print it for less than $2 and then write notes all over it. Also, you can print the sections that only you need for that session.

Possible RttToEE spoilers below....

RttToEE is one of those modules with truly excellent parts (the moathouse, Nulb, the Fanes) and just some boring, tedious parts (the actual Temple and 90% of the Crater Ridge Mines). The CRM might work better only if it were massively changed. There's some really good stuff in there, but you have to sift through random Dragons, Destrachan, and Girallons.

The various Temple politics, could be a great part if developed properly, IMO.
