Anyone know anything about wild rabbits?

We couldn´t see the rabbit fighting, but I can tell you that the cat wasn´t pleased at all. That certainly was a most vicious rodent.

Yep. Big'uns, but rodents.

Now chincillas, I'm less sure of, but I think they are also rodents.

Chincillas ARE rodents. That I know. Had a neighbor who tried to raise some that turned into a major fiasco worthy of a Frank Capra flick.

One website says they are related to the guinea pig and the porcupine. Looks like an immensely fat mouse if I remember correctly.

Rabbits are not rodents they are largmorths (sp). They splilt from the rodent family 35 million years ago. Good at science,Bad at spelling and grammer.

That sounds right. I wish I knew what attacked him though. My dogs pretty much chase away all predators. (They chase the rabbits too, but fairly half heartedly. They go crazy when a dog or coyote is around)

My guess would be another rabbit. Rabbits battle other rabbits.
