[Arcana Unearthed] Runethanes and Touch Runes

Can a runethane do the following?

1) Wear a glove and then scribe a rune on it...so he can touch it with his other hand to activate it, or would just wearing the glove count as touch that surface.

2) Can I cast damaging rune on a stone, and pick that stone up with a cloth without activating it? If I can, can I then chuck the stone at a target, and with a successful ranged touch attack have the rune go off on that target?

I would say no. After all, if you think about it, you're expecting the rune to damage a target even if it hits his armor, or if he steps on it while wearing a boot. So having a piece of cloth would not keep it from activating.
