Arcane Power - anyone know what's in it?

The swordmage build is called the Ensnaring build, which focuses on "cunning footwork, entangling spells, and dazzling swordplay".

My best guess is an "astral" pact, given that it appears to be either deity (God Fragment) or devil (Hellbringer) based. I think you're right about the flavour, though, definitely stealing power or drawing it from dead gods.

I'm not sure it will be devil-based, since there is already the Infernal Pact, but a cool idea would be that the source of the pact would be the god that Asmodeus slew. That's maybe too specific for the general pact (which will probably draw power directly from the Astral Sea or from gods killed during the Dawn War), but it would work well for the Paragon Paths and would hook into the implied setting cosmology pretty well.

Just so long as the new pact is con based, chr seems to be have been getting all the love lately.

As the player of an infernal warlock, I second this! It's been my biggest gripe about the class, which I otherwise love.

Well, okay, it'd be nice to have another class that attacks with Con to multi to instead of using the secondary stat of Int and going Wizard. But that's not strictly about the warlock, I suppose. ;)

It's possibel the Hellbringer is simply a PP for the Infernal warlock.

That would be good, the Lifestealer seems kind of poor IMHO.

[edit: Though it would be even nicer if they would fix things that don't work well with a little errata rathar just trying to plug problems by throwing out new rules.]

You know, I'm not sure this will happen. I think most of the new powers and new pacts will be Cha based from here on out. But I could be wrong :)

I thought I saw a "Dragon Pact" mentioned somewhere official... maybe I'm wrong.
I think dragon pacts are a cool idea, but I bet the sorcerer has scooped this up.

In an ideal world, where I could turn back time and dictate which class had what for primary ability scores, I'd make all warlock powers Con based, with Int being secondary for hellocks and Cha secondary for starlocks. I'd make feylocks use Int and Cha roughly equally (kinda like a resourceful warlord). While I was at it, I'd make tieflings a +2 Con/+2 Int race.

But I don't have this power. :D

I used to think Tieflings should have a bonus to con to make them better infernalocks, but with the Hellfire Blood feat they way don't need it. Considering nearly all infernalock powers are fire or fear, that feat is basically a +2 to con anyway.
