In an ideal world, where I could turn back time and dictate which class had what for primary ability scores, I'd make all warlock powers Con based, with Int being secondary for hellocks and Cha secondary for starlocks. I'd make feylocks use Int and Cha roughly equally (kinda like a resourceful warlord). While I was at it, I'd make tieflings a +2 Con/+2 Int race.
But I don't have this power.
Yeah. I think the fact that all the PHB2 classes (and the swordmage) have a single attack stat and then a choice of secondary stats (like the rogue or warlord) and none have a choice of attack stats (like the warlock, paladin, or cleric) shows that WotC has realized splitting a class's powers in half like that leads to unpleasant side effects.
