Answering my own question, now that I have downloaded the book:

Yes, there is one metamagic feat, Area of Impact. Turns an area effect spell into a touch attack, only affecting one target. Would be cool for a monk/sorcerer.

There are 10 other feats, all magic related, but no other actual metamagic feats.

Still digesting the spells, but the ones I have read are very original. I like the background info, even if it won't see use in a campaign now. Makes for interesting reading.
