My new group consists of:

Myself and my third wife.
Another married couple.
One other marred man (his wife doesn't play.
One divorcee.
One single guy.

Of the 12 people I regularly game with, 2 are not married, but only one of those two is not in a long-term relationship. And of the 13 of us, I only know of 2 divorces.

I think it's interesting to note that from the poll's results so far, the average gamer is slightly more likely to be married than the average American.

I don't presume the stereotype is true.

But, I also suspect that the self-selection nature of the poll is distinct here.

Of my current gaming group, 3 out of 4 are married (actually, I haven't pried, but I believe one might be divorced and with kids, because he speaks of his children quite a bit, but not his spouse.)

It's worth noting that the posters on ENWorld are in no way a representative sample of all gamers. They tend to be older, for starters--that alone will skew the numbers towards "married" (and "divorced") quite a bit.
