Are there any *classic* 2E adventures?

I thought the adventures that went with Al-Quadim, or at least Assasin's Mountain and the Sea Voyage one, where truly wonderful.

They left the PCs in charge and they honestly felt like tales from the Arabian Nights.

All my favorites are 1e. There were 2e Dungeon adventures that i liked a lot, but no published modules blew me away. I agree Paladin In Hell was pretty good. I disliked Dead Gods. Temple of Elemental Evil, in any incarnation, was just too frickin long! Doing it piecemeal was good, though.

There are 3e modules I am willing to call "classic". Such as Grey Citadel, the "Coin" Series, Lost City of Barakus, Hall of the Rainbow Mage, Banewarrens, Morrick Mansion, and a few others. Mostly from Necromancer Games, which is why I am one of their "fanboy's". Consistent and good, with a fair amount of originality.

My favorites were Feast of Goblyns and The Silver Key. I also like to mention the stuff they released for Mystara, most notably Night of The Vampire (yes, which included voice acting on a seperate CD.)

Dark Sun's Freedom and Road to Urik were the two best 2nd Edition modules I ever played. The flip book encounter path for those adventures was pure genius, as was the balance of action and story driven roleplaying.

Yeah, 2E had a spate of adventures that were strongly tied to events going on in TSR novels. I never liked these adventures. They made the PCs seem insignificant.

In fact, it's still happening now in 3E with City of the Spider Queen.

I just thought of a couple that might qualify but I don't own 'em so someone else would have to tell me if they're *classics*. They are:

Ruins of Undermountain
Ruins of Myth Drannor
Menzoberranzan

I know these are more widely known as campaign accessories, but I *think* there's an adventure in each.
