Are there any LA +0 Tiny sized races?

Players can't have an Int under 3, so players can't play as housecats. That's why I specified Awakened housecat, which is a magical beast, not an animal, has 3 HD (possibly 2) minimum from the spell, and has a bunch of negative things that by no means are balanced for its level.

What about, and I'll admit we're getting rather wacky here -

Former familiar.

Higher int, no additional racial hit dice. There are plenty of stipulations for what happens to the master when the familiar dies, but not much is said about what happens to the familiar with the opposite event takes place.

Tiny fighters can make very mean weapon finesse power-attacking spiked chain users, assuming you get a tiny race where the dex bonus is equal to the strength penalty.

1d4 damage isn't a very mean sort of fighter at all. Likewise, a Tiny archer is going to be lobbing arrows doing 1d3 or 1d4 points of damage. Hardly intimidating.

Unless they're poisoned.

Though to be honest the same can be said of any archer. :D

I think the best part of a Tiny character is taking the Leadership feat, earning/hiring yourself some cohorts (or playing in a party of similarly Tiny characters), and forming a swarm. I read the swarm discussion here on EN a week or so ago, and I learned that the rules for swarms are some NASTY fun. :D

Of course, it MIGHT take a little bit of effort to find 299 cohorts or D&D players.

DMG II rules allow 48 medium creatures to form a mob. 47 medium followers are easier to find, I imagine.

Hmm, this has given me a good idea for an antagonist in one of my campains... a tiny faen psion using an augmented compression to run around fine sized. :p
