I'm a public librarian. At the reference desk most of the day. Which means that I get to teach the kids how to do the homework assignments that the teachers give them. Where does that fall in your poll?

I'm a failed teacher. I was asked to leave my student teaching placement. I didn't hit kids or yell at them or do anything worse. They just figured out well before I did that I really wasn't suited for the profession. I'm not a people person. I like the content (history) way more than I ever liked kids.

I'd like to be a teacher, but I can't see I'd be any good at it. I'm appalling at discipline. I'd be that supply teacher that you hate having cover your class because little to no work gets done and the room's a tip.

However, my Fiancee's a newly qualified teacher (and both my parents are/were too) so we're not neglecting the education profession...

I have taught at the college level (as a TA, adjunct, "visitor"...). I could do it again, but I don't really miss it.

Need an option of "had a licence" but never used it.


I graduated as an Art Teacher K-12 but there suddenly was no openings in the entire state and let the licence expire.

Do I ever wonder what it would be like to teach? Sometimes. Other times I relieze I don't have the temperment for it anymore also.
