Are you blowing anything off to get 4e on Friday?

Mine are in Amazon's hands. Which should get here just late enough for me to be able to arrange a TPK for the 3.5 group.

I've booked Friday off (first day off this year). I've got an old friend coming down to see me. We're meeting up with other friends at the London Dungeon event, to which I'm looking forward very much. And I'll be picking up a couple of books at the event. They just won't be 4e.

I'm off today. Reading Into the Shadowhaunt and planning GameDay events (I'm running it for my FLGS). I'm also scanning in the maps for use on Fantasy Grounds for my Sunday game.

Tomorrow I'll be at the shop reading the books in the gameroom all day, and running some quick scenarios for the other two DMs (who are f4nboys but not EnWorld disciples, like myself), and prepping for Saturday. Saturday I'll get to the shop and hour before it opens and start setting up tables, and admiring all the free minis I'm getting for running the games (which I didn't know till yesterday) and setting up my Dungeon Feud board. (Yes, I made a gameboard.)

I'm also making a TPK tally board.

Sunday I'll run another session of our 4E campaign, breaking into KotS, and see if I can kill any of them (dwarf fighter, tiefling warlord, halfling rogue, and elf ranger). That game will be done over Fantasy Grounds. After that is done I imagine I'll nerd out with my friends at the shop, and collapse really late.

Then Monday (which I also have off) I'll put all the D&D stuff in the closet, and take my fiance to the park, to a really nice restuarant, and then to see a movie together. Because if I don't, she's going to leave me after this weekend.

My books should arrive in the next few hours. I'm lucky they where send early, since I'll take the train back to the barracks this evening and won't be back for the next two weeks.

Or not. Looks like I'm unlucky and the delivery service decided to be lazy with the one urgend delivery in years.

This is unnecessary. On Friday, 4e will be available in stores for anyone to purchase.

Hmmm, my Friday lunch is saved! The F in my FLGS stands for "Friend that owns a" and he's gonna hook me up later tonight (not really a midnight opening like some places, he's just doing me a solid).

I got the books several weeks ago from the friendly guys over at WotC. I'm heading to the D&D meetup this Saturday at the Compleat Strategist in NYC. I'll be running a couple of quick one-shots for people looking to try the game out.
