D&D 3.x Are you done with 3e?

I've yet to have any problems with 3E aside from the standard "getting tired of the system because I play it too much" syndrome, so yeah, I'll be both playing and GM'ing 3E in the future.

I'm done with 3.x, and no, I have no plans to move on to 4th. There are plenty of other games available that satisfy me more now. And gamers around who play them.

Still running a long-time 3.5 game with no plans to stop, and just starting another one. I don't plan to stop with 3.5 - unless it's to run a 1st or 2nd edition game.

If I had a group of friends who wanted to run a 3.5 game--and I couldn't convince them to upgrade --yeah, I'd play 3.5 again. It didn't suddenly become a bad game overnight.

But that said, no, I'd never run it again, and I'd do everything I (reasonably) could to talk them into running 4E.

Really, there are a lot of cool ideas in 3e. Unfortunately, there are some core systems that make getting to them a pain in the butt.

Goodness no. Even if I do find that I enjoy 4e as much as WoTC thinks I ought, I'll never be done with 3.x. After all, a ruleset is a framework. That's all it is. I can do anything I want in 3.x. It might be done easier using different rules, but I CAN do anything I want using it, and that's really all I want a ruleset to do. And as long as that ruleset allows me to run or play a fun game, then it's still got wheels and I will ride it. After all, 1st edition, 2nd edition, 3rd edition, whatever, they've all still have fun left in them. It's up to us to find that fun.

I'm done, been done for a number of years actually, only reason I continued to look at D&D was because of my other players. 4e has actually rejuvenated my hope/love of D&D.

Pretty much my situation. Been done for years. Have tolerated the knock offs (AE/AU and IH), but the system itself is best forgotten. It was initially promising, but I grew rather weary of a system focused solely on accumulating the biggest pile of bonuses.
