Of course they were. Just like people are happy to see the second string QB go in when the first string does bad. But then 4 games later when the teams drops 3 of them, they know the first string QB is first string for a reason. In other words when the Vikings go 7-9 or worse, then see if the fans agree getting rid of Moss was a good thing.

Ok Crothian, how about this?

As a long time Vikings fan, I got tired of his crap on the sidelines and off the field. When he was traded, I was happy to see him go, even if the Vikings don't win the division, as predicted by most so-called NFL experts. It's too bad the Vikings don't have a deep threat anymore, but the Moss factor (meaning one of every three thrown balls were in his direction) killed the offense last year, and it will be nice to see a more varied offensive scheme.

I understand that many people are happy to see Moss go. And it might eventually be for the good of the team. I just think a lot of Vikings fans are going to be wanting him back after Minnosota does not so good this year. But I do get what you are saying.

that's the fun thing about the season...are the 49ers that good? can the patriots be stopped? is the Colts and Chiefs defense for real? only timer will tell.....

Yes, if they get a starting linebacker thrown out of the game before it starts and injure McNabb (if not badly enough to keep him out of the game), I guess they can win.

Or if the Eagles decide to play like they aren't playing professional football. That was just sad looking.
