Arkham Horror - Best Ancient One for a Con

Once again, thanks for the suggestions. Ha, I guess I should have consulted the rules too (it suggests Yig for a shorter gamer).

I see valid point for both Yig and Azathoth, but I think I'll use Yig.

The game went very well. I had five players show up and one was very experienced. He was a great help. In hindsight, had I known he was playing I would have likely not worried about which Ancient One to use because he really helped the game go well. The rest of the group had little or no experience though. The game ended about an hour or so early, with the players battling and defeating Yig. We had time for a few rounds of Dominion after that.

It seemed like everyone had fun, so I'd say it was a success.
 

Nice.

Having another experienced player at the table is always a huge help with so many rules flying about. And yeah, it probably didn't matter which AO they faced with another experienced player around.
