The tingling means it’s working!
So I'm a ranger archer wearing spiked armor. In the surprise round, I shoot. Then I get charged. Now it's my turn--can I make a full attack and attack twice (both times with armor spikes)?
SRD:
"A regular melee attack (or off-hand attack) can be made with the spikes, and they count as a light weapon in this case."
Armor spikes cover both arms (spiked bracers) as well as shoulders. Pretty much where there's armor, there's spikes. So, it'd make sense that a two weapon fighter could make a regular and off-hand attack with spikes: two forearms, say, or a forearm and a shoulder bash.
The reason I'm posting this here in Rules is that it says "A regular attack". Do I take this literally?
If so, never fear: I'll make the archer a javelin thrower, wearing spiked armor and carrying a spiked shield.
