[artwork, hosted] Sneak Peek at Counter Pack 1: Demons & Devils

First Post
Hi again, Kids and Kidettes!

After a long hiatus while I was drawing my rear end off, I am finally able to post the world premiere, site exclusive, never-before-seen preview of Fiery Dragon's upcoming Counter Pack 1: Demons & Devils (which will feature all fiends from the MM plus a bunch from Green Ronin's Armies of the Abyss and Legions of Hell). Just hop on the hellwagon to the Fiery Dragon Wallpaper gallery and enjoy three demons welcoming you to their abode... if you dare!

If you have replied to the original thread I posted on Friday, please reply again, as I was unable to read any of the replies before they met their doom... :(

It was quite disturbing to draw that many fiends, so I hope you all like this. :)

Heya, this should be bumped.

I hate to say, though, that the Marillith looks a little less fearsome than she could. There's not as much dynamic movement for something that's half snake. The arms of the glabrezu (the one in the middle) are too short, I think. They don't look like they're long enough to be very effective in combat.

I like your work, but honestly I think you have done better.

Wickett -> Regarding the marilith, I wasn't going for a fearsome mode, but for a seductive one (their CHA is up there, and I was looking at a picture of Elisa Dushku... ;) ), and the glabrezu is covering her left arms. As for the glabrezu, which arms you found too short? The pincer ones? They're drawn to be about as long as a human is tall. The arms next to the marilith are foreshortened, although he's too far for it to cause a distortion. But hey, I want your opinions any day, be they good or bad! At least you liked the nalfeshnee... :)

Claudio RULES!

Actually, I think the demons and devils in the upcoming Counter Pack represent some of Claudio's best work yet for FPD.

This set is truly beautiful (in a terrible, abyssal, and hellish way, of course). Claudio, you've outdone yourself this time around.

Thanks, Mike!

I'll just BUMP this topic once more for those who replied it when I first posted (and whose replies I was unable to read... :( )
