ooc: I believe that both Eternity and Almayce can make buff items :)

RA: I'm a little confused on how much damage I took. The 8 and 12 are damage dealt correct?

Michael power attacks the Afflicted in front of him for 4, and Rystil, if you could roll the dice for me, I need to get back to work.

*Michael's attack is powerful, yet clumsy, and the enemy almost manages to dodge, but Michael still manages to bash its brains out. Since the remaining two are still under the effects of Almayce's Colour Spray, and Ironwolf is not, it is a simple matter to mop them up.*

(OOC: Victory!)

"Well, alright then. That wasn't so bad. We shall have to lick our wounds, then. We still have the same choices as before--look for tracks here, or search for clues in the room that held the artifact. Perhaps both, though she may have left another ambush in that room as well. It seems she had at least guessed that we might return here based on the path we took last time. A pity--this is her shrine, so it used to be a bit of a headquarters for her where she kept her treasure. If we could have recovered some treasure here, it would have been useful. Thoughts?"

"Damnable... bright... lights!" Ironwolf grumbles as he comes to his senses.

He regains his foci.

"We better keep moving."

ooc: 14 damage this combat, 31 overall, 15 pp remaining.

"Sadly, we're going to have to either stop for a bit while the Survival sorts search for tracks or stop for a bit while the Knowledge sorts search for significance in the artifact room. For efficiency and time's sake, we would have suggested splitting up to do both at once except that we suspected traps or ambushes and figured that there was strength in numbers, and that proved to be true. We were also hoping there might be more clues here, but there were not. So which should we do first? The tracking should be faster if we don't lose the trail, though it is a matter of hours once the trail is lost to pick it up again. Also, once we follow the trail away, it will be too late to check for clues. However, checking for clues in the artifact's resting place may take longer than the initial search for tracks, and there is absolutely no guarantee that it will give us anything useful at all, maybe just a bit more knowledge of what you unleashed."

"Either way, let us heal up if we can."
