(OOC: Alright, that takes two more rounds. I think it is reasonable to assume that nobody else wants to do anything that lasts more than 3 rounds, so we can proceed with the moving forward again--remember, the psicrystal cannot open doors, so it probably won't be able to provide anything more useful than 'now the room with the bad guys doesn't have any bad guys in front of it'. It is worth noting that the 'two minute' distance is at the moderate pace they set before. If they rush to the door, it will only take less than 1 minute from here)

We'll hustle... they know we're here. Once the psicrystal has determined that there are no more enemies outside the evil nasty door, it will return to it's usual place on Ironwolf's medalion.

*After stopping for a few seconds to prepare (Anyone who wants to put up more minute/level buffs, post them here), the group rushes forward to the door. It is a large door covered with runes carved in the rock. The door is large enough to fit Large Ironwolf, though he may need to watch his head and perhaps duck just slightly. However, the door is closed and appears to be locked by minor magics.*

"We lack a thief or someone skilled in picking locks. We're getting the feeling that the small ambushes before and then this are just delaying tactics. Shall we bash this down?"

(OOC: You don't actually auto-hit. Though the door does get a -5 to AC from being inanimate and a -1 for size Large and has very little natural bonus, so hitting it in an ineffective way is unlikely. I rolled for you with full PA and you still easily hit)

*Ironwolf's attack noticably sends small fractures through the door, though it remains mostly sound.*

(OOC: Will Hulgyr help bash too?)

Here's what I was thinking of, emphasis added:

SRD said:
Armor Class
Objects are easier to hit than creatures because they usually don’t move, but many are tough enough to shrug off some damage from each blow. An object’s Armor Class is equal to 10 + its size modifier + its Dexterity modifier. An inanimate object has not only a Dexterity of 0 (-5 penalty to AC), but also an additional -2 penalty to its AC. Furthermore, if you take a full-round action to line up a shot, you get an automatic hit with a melee weapon and a +5 bonus on attack rolls with a ranged weapon.

(OOC: I knew that one, just like a coup de grace for inanimate objects, but I figured he couldn't have done that yet because you had him walk up this round, so he didn't have a full-round action yet until next time)
