Assassin Shrouds on Minions

I'd allow it as a house rule though. If you invest two turns into attacking a minion it should die. That's two minors and a standard action.

Misses never damage minions. On the other hand assassins can attack minions while building up shrouds on big targets, so they can attack minions without wasting their turn.

Like when a character swings a mace a second time at a minion and misses, the minion dies anyway?

What about when a character spends an action point to attack a minion and misses? Does the minion die then or do you adhere to the "two strikes" house rule?

A minion never takes damage from a missed attack.

Assassin's Shroud isn't an attack power however. Technically it isn't an attack despite the fact that it "requires" an attack roll. If the attack misses the shroud's effect goes off regardless, probably damaging and thus killing the minion.

Maybe some of this will get cleared up when they get out of alpha test and actually publish the Assassin class...
