just wondering what "at will" actually mean?
since I can't find anything explaining it (I am lazy, so I haven't looked very hard) I thought that I would ask here.

is something that can be used "at will" used at will, as a free action once each round or as a standard action?

Using a spell-like or supernatural ablity is a standard action, unless stated otherwise. "At will" simply means that there is no use limitation on the ability. The creature can use it as many times as it wants.

Although this restriction can be bypassed with an appropriate helm.
