You only find it strange because you do not understand that unless an officer of the law actually witnesses the crime in a fashion that cannot be construed as entrapment, the crime requires that a criminal complaint be filed before an investigation into the crime proceeds.
1. This is a message board. Some here come because they play games, others come because they create games. However, it is in no way, shape, or form, a game in and of itself.

3. I understand the principles of a discussion. However, you are not discussing anything. You are being argumentative and disseminating falsehoods.
4. I understand both sides of the coin. However, I will not accept your side of the coin as correct. Nor will the law accept your side of the coin correct. And it is obviously your side of the coin. Not once have you stated you were acting as devil's advocate, nor have you stated anything to be a hypothetical situation or other manner of supposition. I'm starting to think that you are arguing your side on the basis of personal belief and experience as a thief and perpretrator of online piracy. Maybe if someone hijacked your website or some other situation that put you in a publisher's situation, you'd start seeing things the right way.
