Perfect - thank sGrazzt. The grey box on page 274 says it all.

Also SuperJosh makes a good point - I had dwarven weapon training, but I read it wrong. It's not an attack bonus (beyond the proficiency bonus).

So, like I said - is there a spreadsheet or program out there yet so I can plug in the options and have it spit out the right stuff?

Boolean: LOL, I made the EXACT same error when I made my 1st character. I gave him the + to both hit and damage. WotC really should have worded the chart better IMO.

+2 str.mod.
+2 weapon prof. mod.
+1 dwarven weapon training
+1 fighter weapon talent
----------------------------
+6 total attack bonus

The Dwarf pregen should have a 16 Strength.

Dwarven Weapon Training gives a +2 to damage, not a +1 to attack.
