In a quiet but jovial tone Denton replies, "Oh, sorry. Have a happy daycycle."

He continues to scrutinize their work.

Can he determine wat it is they are working on?

You watch them for a few minutes and it seems they ar eworking on looking busy but don't actually seem to be doing anything productive that you can tell.

Greg carefully looks over the things he can. Seeing people not working quickly and getting things done immediately makes him more suspicious than usual, and so he nods, "Yes, happy day cycle to you."

He'll try to see if he can tell what's wrong with the transtube if its obvious.

You are unable to tell what is wrong with the Transtube. You'd need to get closer to the Transtube to figure it out, but they have set up tape barracades of Orange color.

Can I tell if what they've done has made the transtube inoperable?

From watching what they have been doing you don't think they have done anything to sabatage it, nor have they done anything to fix it.

As Denton observes the workmen's tools, John appraises Denton's cleanliness. He gets a serious look on his face as he looks down. "Those hands could be cleaner, citizen. Remember to keep your fingernails properly trimmed and brush under them after every meal. Dirt gets trapped there... and germs... and soylent."

John looks over at the workmen's 'repairs.' "That all looks very....... complicated." Then John's mouth breaks into a large smile. "Come citizens, let us find another means of travel and leave these good people to their hopefully hygenic duties. I believe there is a stairwell around here somewhere."

To John: "We were ordered to report to this transtube."

To Orange workers: "Good daycycle again. Do you happen to have a better estimate of when we may be able to use this transtube as so ordered?"

"Yes," Bradley agrees looking at the others, "the computer was very specific in the communication to us."

Bradley looks around the immediate area, looking for a computer terminal or something of that sort that he might be able to use to figure out what is wrong with this particular transtube.

He does not have a lot of equpment and nothing obvious. He does have some things in pockets and you think you see a red comb.

Bradley looks around the immediate area, looking for a computer terminal or something of that sort that he might be able to use to figure out what is wrong with this particular transtube.

You do see a confession booth not 5 meters away.
