Denton walks over to John and raises his laser pistol to his head (while keeping an eye on the other possible traitors who did not aid in vanquishing the imposters/traitors). In a very casual tone he says, "You may now enter the confession booth for not assisting in the disposal of the confessed traitors to the Computer. If you do not confess your dereliction of duty as a troubleshooter you will be considered a traitor. You have 3 seconds to decide."

Greg, not having gotten his weapon out fast enough, watched and now looks to John. Hearing Denton's words, he then gives a critical look over everyone, "Are all of you traitors?! We cannot delay any longer! There is a briefing! Delaying is treasonous!"

He then turns and heads for an alternate route.

John glares at Denton. "Drop your gun, citizen. What was I supposed to do, attempt to kick one of them in the shin? I'm not armed and not skilled in hand to hand. My most use to the team in that encounter was to do what I did. Get out of the way and call for help."

"Now, if you're quite finished, we have to find a new way to get to the briefing room. The Transtube may not have truly been out of order before, but it is now."

Brett holsters is gun and looks at the mess that's left of the Transtube. "Well I'm sure that made the Computer happy. Want to bet the Transtube was never broken? Now let's move on. Happy guys, happy.

"Uhh... Jon-R-HFC-1."

"Of course it wasn't broken citizen. The traitors were obviously lying which is why I had to take swift action. Unfortunately, it is broken now and we'll be forced to use the stairs it seems"

"My sentiments exactly citizen. And good work with those traitors. I'm sure the Computer is happy which should make us happy. Now let us find these stairs and continue with the Computer's work."

Pointing towards Gregg Denton states," I guess we should follow that citizen. he seems to know where he's going."

He heads off after him.

John thinks about calling for some scrubbots, then realies he has no transmitter to call the computer. He follows after Greg and Denton, keeping an eye on them both.

Once at the stair door, he inspects its cleanliness and upkeep, looking for wear from use and such. (rolled a 19)
