Attacking Squirrels in DnD

works fine for me. AC 17 is tough but not impossible. Most of us would proabbly find it to be about that tricky to hit a squirrel. I've killed little mamals with slingshots, bows, slingshots, thrown rocks and blunt objects and an AC around 17 for the squirrel seems about right.

The conclusion that worked for me is that you would never get close enough to physically hit it except via surprise. They're paranoid little buggers that have a readied action every round to run and climb. Ranged weapons on the other hand would skewer them rather easily. And they're just plain fast. And burn easily.

And now CHIPMUNKS. At the campus where i work i see these buggers everywhere recently. Even smaller and more paranoid than the squirrels! Easily AC 28-30.
