Austin Games Day-January 24, 2004--Calling all GMs and players

I would be willing to run something, given the amount of lead time you've given here. I will run whichever of the following has the most interest: 7th Sea, D&D3, Earthdawn, Feng Shui, Over the Edge, TORG. (I can also take requests if someone wants something more exotic, like TRoS, TFOS, Theatrix... but it's unlikely there will be enough demand for one of those.)

In general, I will provide pre-gen characters. I prefer basic familiarity, but will teach as needed. 7 players is probably my upper limit, and 5-6 works better.

I vote either 7th Sea or D&D3. I'd like for yours to be in the first session as well, so I can play.

What are TFOS and TRoS?

Sorry, didn't mean to be obscure.

TFOS: Teenagers from Outer Space -- a comedy game about alien teens, the ravages of space pimples, escaping the (seven) sharp eyes of the math teacher, and trying desperately to get lucky.

TRoS: The Riddle of Steel -- fantasy genre, with "realistic" combat, spiritual attributes which can give inspiration, and powerful magic. More classical fantasy than the D&D genre.

Basically, if there's a game you've been wanting to play, there's a good chance I could run it if you get enough people.

The point buy system is for BASE attributes before racial adjustments. That is why there is an 8-20 buy range limit. While people can technically get to an Attribute level of 23 at 6th level, no one can go below 6.

Again, good questions.

For the record, I have three slots filled. Ari and wife, and Garmorn are on the list.

Is this straight core 3.5? Any splats allowed, or other supplements? Web enhancements, etc?

- "Put it all together and EMAIL (see email button below) me your sheet, either as a scan on an actual DnD character sheet, or as an HTML (PCGen) output, or some other application output in a universal format (pdf txt html).
Note: I am sending a PC Gen sheet but It will show 3.0 except where I know how to modify it.

Have three players so far

Just for the record, I have a Wizard, a Ranger, and a Fighter signed up for this little job ;)

I need at least ONE more player to make the game and I'd prefer it be a Cleric if someone is riding the fence.

I'm a little surprised that the number of people signed up isn't higher. I wonder if a lot of people are holding off on signing up because of the amount of time left, or what...

Regardless, d20books, if you don't manage to get enough people to run the game, I'd be happy to fill the Cleric spot. I'll see what I can do about getting something put together shortly (I'll have to go off the SRD, 'though).

I think people are trying to figure out their schedules. I don't think it will be a problem getting six or eight even, as the time gets closer.

Heck, if we are all in Austin, we could continue with the characters as a campaign :)

I would be interested in a Feng Shui or Earthdawn game.

Jeff,

Sorry I still haven't gotten the rest of the info to you yet. The last few days have been nuts. I'll try to have it done tonight, or at least tomorrow.
