Go ahead, small fry. Let's see how you throw a dagger or two. Each will get 5 throws.

Baisc AC for taget is 10. The scoring works like this:

Attack Roll Total=Points Gained
10-12 = 1
13-14 = 2
15-16 = 3
17-18 = 4
19+ = 5

The man's total Attack Bonus is: +3 (str bonus)

Regis stands at the designated spot and begins throwing.
1d20=12, 1d20=7, 1d20=13, 1d20=4, 1d20=5
1st throw- 5 pts (12+9=21)
2nd throw- 3 pts (7+9=16)
3rd throw- 5 pts (13+9=22)
4th throw- 2 pts (4+9=13)
5th throw- 2 pts (5+9=14)

Regis smiles at his opponent. Get ready to hand me some money, big fella

(I thought only dex can be added to throwing weapons hit modifier. I know in 2nd edition both str and dex were used, but I think it's dex to hit and str to damage)

(What totaled to teh +9??? I coudl be mistaken but I'm pretty sure onyl Str adds to the AB of a thrown weapon Maybe it's Dex I coudl be wrong)

With a ranged weapon, your attack bonus is:
Base attack bonus + Dexterity modifier + size modifier + range penalty

OOC: His Dex is 20 (+5), +1 Small size, +1 halfling bonus to thrown weapons, +1 BAB total +8, so it should be one less on each of his rolls. I don't know where he got that last +1, possibly he added both Str and Dex. Should just be Dexterity.

Alright I see that.....

His rolls:
1
2
3
4
5
Which are:
17 (4 points)
6 (0 points)
11 (1 point)
4 (0 points)
22 (5 points)
Total Points:
10

The man hands Regis a silver coin, with a look a fury.
Bloody lucky, that's what that was, I'll tell you what halfling, how about we go for a double or nothing type game here? A gold coin for a single throw. What do you say?
He looks at Regis eagerly.

The man throws his knife but his nervous hand slips and he cmopletely misses the board.

Roll

GRRAH!!! I can't believe I lost to a half-pint like you! You got lucky! Bloody halflings....

The man goes on grumbling incoherently, though you catch a few words that are...less than appropriate. He shoves a gold piece at Regis and walks away to sit in the corner.

Regis drops the two coins into his empty purse and walks back to his seat. Smiling, he addresses the barmaid. What do I owe you for the meal?
