Hmm... indeed, the Luck Feats (from Complete Scoundrel, not Adventurer) require an Immediate Action (Survivor's Luck was the one I had in mind).

Still quite good, just not for the initial rounds, while he is flat-footed.

That leaves the Luck Blade (it only needs to be in one's possession, not wielded, to be effective) and maybe some MIC items, I think.

Also, Steadfast Determination makes sense, if you are using the rules for death by Massive Damage (those saves usually only fail with a natural 1).
