As Gwystol Picks the creature up you can see beyond tree line a woman Bound and gaged.
The creature in your hand licks your hand and tries to crawl/hop up to your sholder. It is about the size of a tree frog. The Creature seems to be mimicing her cries only louder than she can due to the gag.

Looks beyond to the woman, saying 'Oh, someone might want to see to her' in an offhand manner while examining the small frog/plant thing.
How interesting' he remarks while making note of it's color patterns.

OoC:Wouldn't it be funny if it was some sort of hallucinogenic-inducing frog/plant.thing. Ha, I touched it, and it licked me...puts a spin on things...

The woman before you raises an eyebrow at the approaching party and utters a startled "MMMMMMFFFFF!"

IC: Seeing the approaching person she starts nodding her head down toward her bound hands and feet and struggling to get them loose!

FAbeida shakes her head as if to be saying no. and looking at the gnome. (She saw what the little creature did to the troup she was traveling with.)

Gwystol sets the Frog/Plant.thing down and steps towards the young woman. Turning he says to Yellow-Eyes, 'Watch that' pointing at the frog/plant/thing.
OoC"Can I get a Know-Nature Check or some such? Maybe I might remember something about frog/plant/things.

IC: Gwystol removes the gag and says 'Well hello, there.'
Barring her attacking him, Gwystol will pull out a knife and cut her free asking'Now, whatever tied you up, Miss?'

When Gwystol Starts cutting the "ropes" holding the Petite woman, He notices that they are living plant shoots. It is almost as if she is held in an entangle spell. Yellow eyes whines as the creature hops over to Gwystol and tries to clinb up to your sholder again. "Fribblitt" is says in a bouncy happy tone.
yellow eyes tries to gently take it from you but it dodges his maw and tries to stay with you.

 

[Leopold]

IC: "Thank you good sir, I was merely scouting when they decided to investigate the noise that they heard. Zephril! Zephril! where are you? Let's move away quickly good sir, this place is nothing but trouble."

She starts crawling away from the frog/plant creature quickly still calling out. A small red and tan snake comes slithering out from the shrubs and climbs up her leg and rests on her shoulders and hisses at the gnome.

"Tut tut my pet, behave, this nice gnome rescued me from that pickle you got me into, show some manners."

The snake curls around her neck and stares at gnome.

"Where are you off to this fine <insert time of day, i have no idea>? Would you be needing some additional explorers of this land to accompany you? It appears the rest of my group is rather, well dead."

She starts dusting the dirt and leaves off her body and keeps moving farther and farther through the bushes trying to get away from the plant all the while the snake is staring at the frog/plant.

Fabeida relates to the party that she and her traveling companions were attacked by about 30 of the little frog things. They lure you to them and then entangle you with shoots that come from their backs. This one on Gwydon's shoulder was the one who caught her but it did not take her away like the others did.
She then realises that her friends are in great danger.

(sorry to take over your character there but I wanted to explain the situation.)
