To actually give this post some content, the weekly DDM Scenario update posted today looks like a fun way to combine DDM & AAM. And tempts me into pickup up a few AAM boosters. Must... resist!

I play it every Wednesday when I pick up new comics (along with a new booster). Great game. basically, it's a (very) simplified Squad Leader with minis.

Scale is just about HO, so if you wanted to and had a card for a few Mosin-nagants, you could go buy the Airfix Soviet infantry and use those figs instead of having to buy tons of boosters. Or, you can wait till early December whent he first expansion set comes out that mostly deals with eastern front and promises to provide many more Soviet pieces. There are more sets planned and the second expansion set is rumored to be D-Day.

Come on. The starter even includes some specific tanks. And with 4 boosters and a starter I've already got about a dozen tanks.

BTW, the turrets rotate, and most of the guns can elevate a bit.
