I've updated the spell list to include the latest changes, including the cleric spells.

I'll check back in on the thread to see if there are more revisions.

Please fix the tables on that page. You are missing at least one closing </TABLE> in the page, perhaps more.

The version of Netscrape I use doesn't tend to display the table if you don't have the correct number of open and close tags (<TABLE> and </TABLE>) in the page.

I saw the revised list, and I still think that divine favor is much stronger than True Strike. Which is quite lousy. Yeah, I know, power attack for 20 pts..., but it'll make the other four attacks miss. Hardly worth it.

Divine Favor, on the other hand, profits the dragon around 25 points extra damage / round (+5 to each of five attacks), and he can double that if power attacking away the to hit bonus of divine favor.

So please, can we have the Divine Favor on cleric list? True Strike is for _one_ lousy attack, while Favor is for ten rounds!

Please, save the dragons! ;)

OK, I know I'm ranting...

But please?

I'm having a hard time figuring out how these spells are choosen. I see three options:

1- They must substitute one of their known sorcerer spell slots for a cleric spell.
2- They get to spontaneously cast from the entire cleric+domain list.
3- Their spontaneous sorcerer slots have to be filled with memorized cleric+domain spells.

Which is it?

as per an email from the Sage I sent him a long time ago
They cast it as a sorceror spell, provided they pick it as a spell they know.
Of course that lets them technically use almost any wand or spell completion item since they have almost every spell on thier possible known spell list.

New spell - MUST HAVE!!!

(reviving this thread)

Another thread, the one about the blindsight spell from FRCS and darkness granted me this insight - a KILLER spell for a dragon. They already have blindsight.

This makes darkness very formitable, as it won't bother the dragon at all. It can toss darkness on the group, then target them with his breath weapon, flyby attack dexless PCs, etc.

Oh, and bret - there aren't any tables on the article page at all (unless the banner ad uses them). The site makes extensive use of Cascading Style Sheets, which netscape does a horrible job of rendering (in 4.x anyway). I'd suggest updating to a more modern browser. If you don't like IE opera, Netscape 6.x and Mozilla are all fine browsers.
